We own and operate Peterbilt Trucks (379's).
We travel mainly in the Southeastern, South Central, and Northeastern regions
of the United States where the majority of our employees live.

    Applicant Requirements:
  •        At least 2 years of CDL Class A experience or 1 year of CDL experience and Driving School completion
  •        No more than 1 MVR violation (this includes accidents-i.e. an accident on his/her MVR is equal to 1             
    violation) in 3 years
  •        Must be 25 years old
  •        Must have a valid CDL Class A license
  •        No criminal background
  •        Must pass a DOT physical
  •        Must pass a pre-employment urinalysis

    Application Process:
  •        Complete an application and sign a release form.
  •        Past DOT employment for the previous 3 years must be verified.
  •        MVR must be verified to make sure you meet the minimum qualifications.
  •        Applicant speaks to dispatch in order to ask any further questions (i.e. home time, pay range, etc.)
  •        Schedule and take a pre-employment urinalysis.
  •        After the negative result is received, driver is scheduled for orientation!

    Orientation - Only One Day Long
    Orientation consists of the following:

  •        Road test
  •        Videos (2.5 hours)
  •        Maintenance of the vehicle
  •        Pre- and Post-trip inspections
  •        Hours of Service
  •        Load Securement policies and procedures
  •        Company policies and procedures (i.e. turning in paperwork, fueling, benefit overview, safety bonus
    overview, etc.)
  •        Complete employee file documents

    We also buy the applicant’s lunch on the day of orientation. After the employee completes orientation, he/she
    speaks with dispatch to discuss his/her first load!

    Pay Scale:
  •        Regular customer loads: 22.5%
  •        Broker loads: 25 %
  •        Deadhead pay: $0.12 per mile (after 100 miles, including the first 100 miles)
  •        Stop-off pay (but we hardly ever have stop offs): $25
  •        Side-kit pay on specific loads: $35
  •        Detention pay at specific customers:  50% (most of the time it’s $25 per hour paid to the driver)
